Fixed it 8) ....pulled out the Sony and replaced it with a Blaupunkt Tuner/CD/MP3-WMA head unit - looks good and sounds grrrrrreat. :mrgreen:

Nah, but I managed to get it adjusted with the aid of the instruction book and my finger. Seems odd poking at it with the index finger to make the noise louder or softer :roll:

Looks really nice JBT. That's the sort of unit I've got in mine. Bland dark, matches the interior, doesn't get stolen.

My next head unit will have a push out volume knob however, I hate volume buttons, and that's what I have.

I'm really impressed with it Jules.

The up down buttons for volume on this one are very easy to use. The blue button (between the volume up/down arrows) just \"mutes\" the system with one quick press..........hmmmm.......I think I need a blue button for Mrs JBT too :mrgreen: It switches the unit off with a long press.........don't need that for Mrs JBT though. :P

Tested the unit out today on an MG Club run....brilliant, no CD skips in any mode, good radio reception too.
