Thanks for the graphs Okibi,
Looks like you had as good a day as we did (though we didn't think of snags, DOH!)
A couple of thoughts prompted by your graphs.
1) The 5 speed runs were correctly performed in 4th (1:1), while the 6 speed runs were incorrectly performed in 4th (not 1:1). This makes it hard to compare 5 speed cars with 6 speed cars.
2) Very surprising to that the NC was 13kW down atw when the claimed maximum power at the flywheel is only 3kW (118 NC vs 121 SE). Either the NC is being oversold or the SE was undersold. But then the SE was found to have some 22-28 kW over the standard NB8B atw when the claimed difference atf was about 8kw IIRC (113 NB8B vs 121 SE).

Not incomparable to the stock SP at the Melbourne Dyno day yesterday: 102 & 102 kw for the stock SE, 106 and 112 for the stock SP. Big difference in torque figures, though.

Hi Alf,
Mazda used a measurement called ECE for the 113KW. DIN is around 107.
ECE enables all the pulleys to be discounted. You may recall that they changed the 113 to 107 when the SE was launched.
If you took off the alternator and Power steering then it seems that 107 becomes 113. It might be that the 118 is ECE and returns around 111 DIN.
