Got away from you ???
PHHHHFT
I got to Uncle Arthurs at 10.00am and left at 5.00pm.
What a HOOT !
Thanks to Rhysk who swapped me my SE windblocker for a 99NB Windblocker. Just so everyone knows... the SE windblocker wont fit a 94 Clubman with an EBAY Bling Bar fitted. Good job we had an Nb8A on site!
Great day.. good company.. and excellent arguments re:-
SE Vs SP
Power Steering Vs Non Power Steering
REd Vs Blue
NC Vs The Rest
The only thing everyone there agreed on was.....
AJ's Black NC isnt a REAL MX5 !
he he he he he he
Photos to come.

Re:
arguments solved today
SE (even a chipped up higher boost SPMotorsports one) Vs SP (sans $5 mod) >>> definitevely solved at Mt Cotton
Hillclimb, SP wasted SE's a$$$$$$, (higher torque and redline, coupled with aggressive wheel alignment = better turn through the hairpin)
Motorkhana, SE wasted SP's a$$$ by 4 secs, even though I had the handbrake on for most of my last run, grrrrrrrrrr, I managed three consecutive 1 min 20sec's to SE's 1.20+, 1.20+, 1.16 (what the). >>
better power delivery by LSD of SE.
Plenty of runs done with SE and SP drivers in the cars at the same time.
SP owner now wants
a) New gooey tyres as current Dunlops end of life, hence very brutal treatment today
b) a bloody Guru
SE owner now wants
a) an SP
b) more aggressive wheel alignment
Red Vs Blue, again solved at Mt Cotton, face it guys, Blue rocks.
The only thing everyone there agreed on was..... AJ's Black NC isnt a REAL MX5!, it too was concurred at Mt Cotton, even the WRX guys agreed

Went for a drive and there were slow cars everywhere, why are NC's so common . . . must be NC = Normally Cardiganed.

HEY. I resent that.Sabertooths car in bits - AGAIN
Great day, guys. I was wondering where the thread was and only just thought to check the events forum. Sorry for spraying your car with brake fluid, Wayne. I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned it, actually.
Also - my clutch slave was rebuilt successfully - it no longer leaks. I do have a persisting problem though, and I've narrowed down the effect/symptoms. If I push the clutch pedal in slowly, it will go to the floor softly without actuating the clutch. If I push it in quickly then I can change gear without issue. So, I have a clutch master cylinder problem. I'll get a replacement one from the UK with the order of the rest of my bits and pieces. Parts are just too expensive here.
Anyway, thanks for the company + food, guys. Hopefully there will be another day like that.

Day after - full success
Went down and started Max up this morning- allowed her to warm up and checked for any coolant leaks, and nothing!!! The gasket goop on the top hose has worked a treat, and therewas no sign of the lifter rattle fro yesterday (it even sounded improved before the work was done).
So I took Max for a blat to the shops this afternoon and she's revving sweet, and running very well, so we obviously got the job done right.
I've still got grease under my fingernails though.
Great pics Wayne - I'd forgotten about the brakefluid scandal
