Postby PT » Wed Jun 21, 2006 2:48 pm

Apparently the NB8A 15's will fit. So that means that other 15\"ers will too. But best to try before you buy.

Lovely.

Will do...

16\"s seem to be a strange spot, no one makes tyres for them.

No one makes 16\" wheels full stop. So many designs come in 14, 15, 17, 18,....22. Maybe 16 is an unlucky number or something.

NB 15s definately fit.

There are quite a few 15s that fit...

I am planning to run 15 x 7 on my SE race car...Yokohama make A 048 in 225/50/15.

I have a set of 15in BSA and a set of 15in ALT wheels that fit NB8B+ models with 270mm front brakes. Some 15s don't fit because the caliper protrudes into the spokes. 8)

Or rather there's a bolt sticking out of the top of the front calipers that gets in the way of many 15\" wheels.
You could always pull out the bolt and replace it with a shorter one, then virtually any 15\" wheel will fit.
I tried a few 15\" rims on my car before I found ones that were light and fitted without any rubbing or modifying.

Unfortunately the bolt that sticks up off the capliper holds the brake hose on to the caliper, there is nothing you could do with it to get it out of the way.

what type of wheels were you looking at? style or performance? cheap or exy?

i have sp brakes on my car with 15s most light wieght rims would probably fit fine since they would of made everything as thin walled as they could
