The Mazdaspeeds have reported split elbows in the States

Nope... Didn't read that....

But I haven't heard it mentioned on the mazdaspeed forum except for one guy who was running a upgraded intake system including intercooler, with a larger turbo and over 1.bar boost.

The elbow was the only thing that was stock on the intake system, hence, the only part that wasn't upgraded failed, not rocket science.

The SE guys seem very keen to dish out the sh*t on the SP but cant take a little gentle proding when the short comings in the SE start appearing. Talk about thin skinned. :roll:

If you read Corky's site, that car was at standard boost. It has been well documented by FM as well. 8)
