Mt Cotton LVMA with WRX Club 24 June 2006

Postby Abyss » Wed Jun 07, 2006 7:54 pm

Decisions decisions!!!! Which one to do?

We have been invited back to a Mt Cotton Day with WRX Club, those who went before must have been on their best behaviour

If you are interested in attending contact Dan Brown below.

\"LVMA\"

When - Saturday 24 June 12:30-16:30 (participants to arrive by 12:00)

Where - Mt Cotton Driver Training Centre, Mt Cotton Rd, Mt Cotton.

Details - Participants will be split into three groups on a rotating
basis. The first group will participate in a mini hill climb around the top
road of the LVMA (awesome fun). The second group will participate in a
modified slalom event on the open LVMA surface (wet surface) and the third
group will participate in a marked out circuit of cones. This event is done
on the emolium treated surface which is also wet and very slippery (again,
great fun). After two hours the Hill Clim event will continue, but the two
courses on the LVMA will be re set for a course which will take up the full
area of the LVMA.

The day is a lot of fun and allows you to experience the limits of adhesion
in a safe environment.

Cost - $60.00 (includes day membership of WRX CLUB of QLD)

Tips - Ensure you have done a full mechanical inspection of your
vehicle prior to entering. Tyre pressures should be 36psi or greater.

More info? - Contact Dan Brown wrx555@iinet.net.au or phone

Hmm so does this mean that people let the team down last time and didn't spank the subipoos into submission at the LVMA motorkhana event. :)

Ha! Fastest time clockwise on motorkhana was a black SP, anti-clockwise he was .02sec behind 1st place, and within a second of 1st for both slaloms.....

They didn't mention anything about hairdressers after that..... Funny eh?
