HID Aftermarket kit into NB8A

Postby buliarios » Wed May 31, 2006 9:27 am

Hi guys,

just wondering if this has ever been done. i wanted to get a H4 hi/lo HID conversion kit for my NB8A. I have considered upgrading the headlights to the SE projector headlights but price is an issue. i'm more worried about the temperature that the standard headlight casing can handle and whether the beam can be adjusted if it is aimed too high.

Hey there,

I got a GT-HID 6000k H4 Bi Xenon conversion kit, bolts straight -on...

The light beam is definitely brighter and most on coming traffic thinks I m on high beam, the beam is pretty scattered but still pretty usable. As for the heat from the bulb its about the same as the halogen bulbs, the hid hasnt affect the structure and the plastic len covers of the headlight.

I hope that helps
