The D2s are shocking...worse then the D3s. A friend of mine ran D2s and threw them away with 80% thread on it.

I guess to be on the safe side, the Toyos are good for the semi-budget conscious. If I had money I'd buy Michelins of course :P

Are the Michelins that much more expensive than all the others? I got a set of 16\" Precedas 2 weeks ago for $217 each which sounded quite reasonable to me. My Toyo T1S's were around $200, the Dunlop Dizezza's just under $200 and the poxy Turanzas were around $260 from memory.

I've been running GS-D3's on my car for a while now. I have no complaints. They are great!

I just checked my car and they are a soft compound tyre made in Thailand.

I can't understand the lack of grip / performance issues some of you are experiencing. The only thing I can attribute to it are bad wheel alignment settings or incorrect tyre pressures. Possible suspension settings, etc.

I'm with Sab on this one. Had no issues with these on the GF's car (215/40/17),seem to grip well and handle the wet without any dramas. I wouldn't buy the GSD2's but no problems with the D3's.(Will keep an eye on the wear rate however)

Try almost half the price. My Toyos cost $125 each for 15s

Prices for 15's and 16s are not comparable. ES100's are $153 in 15's and 229 in 16's from same dealer.
