can of petrol and a match .lol.
lol seriously its a pain in the rear end and is labour intensive , it can be done with some chemical stripper (very messy and bad for you) or a hired bead blaster (special beads not sand ) and a conex container or a shed you hate (leaves tonnes of crap everywhere) and then you have to prep the surface with prepsol , and spray your undercoat and make sure it is etching type (of the correct type for your paint and surface ect ect ) since this will help stop lifting later on if you have done a bad job..
i do recomend that you either leave it to a pro or get someone in who has done it before and you help and learn for next time .
me im going to do a tafe course (automotive spray painting i think its called) first then will do it there since its part of the course to paint a car.

I was thinking to stripe mine too, but have since changed my mind.
Apparently you can get some graphics places to print you full vinyl stripes (like contact), this way you can take it off again easily if you didnt like it..
not sure how feasible an idea it is, or how expensive it is but it might be worth investigating.

If you have a Red NA, whatever you do ....do not put silver stripes on it.....a certain Vic club President of Vice would have a pink fit if yet another Red Silver striped NA turned up on the roads..
Then again it might be fun to do it just to p!ss him off. ....
Heres an example of two Tassie cars with stripes.

Here is another link. This time to an old post on this forum. Pics of a white Vic Club car with blue stripes. Also details of a local company that might be able to assist.

That Malibu could do with silver stripes, me thinks.
