Is that new from Mazda or something?

Nope, new rotors from DBA, new SS Goodridge lines, new Hawk HP pads and second hand calipers from a 2004 NB.
Mazda's list on the front calipers is $1200 each(yeah ouch) i didn't price the rears
Brakes are awsome now, although the Hawk pads are no better than the stock Mazda ones IMHO.

sounds like a pretty good set up but if you paid $2300 for it you've been ripped off by about $1200.

Daz, i don't think i was ripped off at all, the pads and rotors will cost u more than 1200, thats for drilled and slotted.
The calipers are as new 12000k's.

Sure i could of done it cheaper but it wouldn't be as good, you could save $600 on pads and rotors alone but you wouldn't be having much fun at the track :P and mine is a track car first and foremost!

I just buy Protex rotors and have them slotted. Just got some more rears done. They were $68ea and another $25ea for the slotting. I paid $285 for a complete set of HP+ pads. So a full set of new slotted rotors and pads are nearly 1/2 that.
