NFS13B runs 10.48 seconds

Postby nfs13b » Sun May 21, 2006 8:25 pm

Hey All,

Just thought I would share..... Went out to WSID today for Compak Attak, expecting to snap my axles but instead ran a 10.48 second pass (and some 10.5's) off the foot brake launching at 3000rpms.... On pump fuel with alot more in it once my rear brakes get beefed up.

Gonna have to try the circuit now.....

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

they are custom billet axles.....

No videos, I forgot to take the camera out.... Hopefully it will do it a few more times so I can get some videos of it then.

Car ran really smooth, I think I can get a 10.2 out of it once I fix up the rear brakes...

Holy shernuffle! Nice work!

If it's not the fastest, it's gotta be bloody close! Is the car stripped much at all or is it a useable road car with an enormous punch on the 1/4 mile?

the car isnt stripped at all except the glovebox isnt there (never put it back in).... its usable as a road car, bu takes a fair amount of petrol.

congratulations on the time, ill have to watch the vid when i get on the work computers(broadband).

you might have the fastest MX-5 in aus but there are guys(3 of em) in america i think running 8-9s, still running the 1.8L but with the series 4/5 RX-7 driveline.
they have sites but i cant remember what they are.
