Cable Plastic Sheath Thingo (From a Bike Brake Cable)

One end is stripped to fit inside the end of the Jcar Cable Actuator

This nut and bolt is part of the Jcar Kit, it attaches the new wire to the factory boot release

I still need to finish the bracket to hold the actuator then make up some neat electrical cables and mount the relay.

Well done Okibi! Would have been simpler to buy an NB with remote boot release already fitted though :P

Bracket to mount the actuator on the passenger side of the lock mechanism (vertically cable pointing down) so it won't get in the way of the rod to the boot lock.

To mount the actuator on the dodgy Jcar bracket thing as close to the boot locking mechanism as possible I chopped about 1cm off each bolt so they didn’t stick out.
