I might run at the 4 July event depending on what happens with getting a club organised afternoon track event off the ground.

6 June topic has already been started here

Where were you, anyway? I saw you on the list of drivers, but you weren't anywhere to be seen.

I should be making this one. Hopefully I'll leave with all valves intact, also. :)

Bump...

As per JBT's post - who's doing which session?

I'm leaning towards the morning but I'd prefer to be grouped with other MX5s...

Cheers,

Details are:

TRACK DAY – JULY 4

2 x HALF DAY – MORNING / AFTERNOON SESSIONS

Hi Guys,

Track Day on July 4 will be run as two half days. You can do the morning session, the afternoon session or both.

I have nominated the tracks to run, if you think different vote with your booking. I have put the Sportsman Track down in the afternoon as no-one ever runs it and I think we should give it a go. If the votes see a different setup then I will change it accordingly.

Morning Session (3 hours of Clubman, 1 hour of National) $110

Afternoon Session (3 hours of Sprint, 1 hour of Sportsman) $110

Full Day $180

Buffet Lunch $15

There will be only 4 Groups of 10 cars in each session, keeping the car numbers low and the track time high.

As always, first in gets the spots. Within 2 weeks of the event all unpaid bookings will be sold.

VOLUNTEERS

There are 5 spots reserved for volunteer drivers. If you want to help out for half the event, you can drive half the day and have the other half for free. The jobs include Track controller, pit Lane Marshall, pit lane organizer, timing room helper etc.

You will either drive the morning or afternoon session. Let me know if you want one of these spots and your driving preference.

Final Note

I have over 30 reserved spots for this day already. If you have put your name down, please let me know what you want to do on the day, if you haven’t got your name down book in.

Also if you have some friends who want to come out, they are welcome. You can book yourself a group and all drive together.

Please have a read of the rules below if you are new to the group.

Thanks for your support on making these days great.

Contact Paul Ruzic on 0411 127374 or pruzic@tpg.com.au for more details on booking, deposit payments and track day rules.

I'm going for the morning session. 8)

I'm in... The datto will be in full swing! Should be interesting though, i'll probably redline in top gear at about the finish line on the straight due to the gearbox and diff ratio... hmmmm... Good fun anyway.

Took the disks out and slotted them yesterday... Yep, 3 boys, 2 disks and a grinder. Voila, slotted rotors. 8)

See you guys out there, oh and i asked to be driving the clubman.
