:? Ummmmmmm....can someone tell me what Craig means? I know I will be slammed for asking... but is he saying the SE doesn't look like an MX5? I don't get the point on his comment!

I reckon good luck to whoever has the good fortune of owning either car.... they are both brilliant!!!!

He means it's a street sleeaper. It's got the same mags, no body kit, not lowered etc. It looks just like any other NB8B where as the SE looks more hotted up and is very easily distinguished from any other MX5.

Some people think it's a good thing, others prefer the body kit. Craig thinks it's good looking stock standard. 8)

Well, the SP looks almost the same as a dead stock MX-5, so if you wanna be a stoplight hero and pretend your turbo MX-5 is a slower NA version you can.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

 I hope you weren't referring to me

We all have different tastes.......it would be a sad world if we didn't.... Got nothing against you or the SP's I just happen to prefer the SE - I'm not a big hoon and find the SE has everything I need so it suits me perfectly as no doubt you find your SP has everything you desire/require in a car ... so all in all, all the SE/SP car owners should be happy

which is better????? I would say it depends on your own preferences and what you want your car for!

Anyway just hope you all enjoy driving your "MX5's" :P

And how do you figure that one out? You come in 10 pages later and pull up a post on page 1 thinking it's aimed at you.

Sure i'll spell the whole \"street sleeper\" idea out for you in private, less not wreck a great thread by getting side tracked.

 Arrrgh.....put your claws away Bevan - it doesn't suit you

I knew I would be slammed as I said in an earlier post......... I made the BIG mistake of getting to page 2 of this 'thread' and then couldn't help myself - I had to ask about Craig's post and then I thought well why not tackle page 1 as well...... I haven't even managed to get to page 3 yet... but I promise when I get the chance I will read the rest of the posts (another 7 pages or so)

 I apologise if you feel I've waited until 10 pages are done before I made a comment but the truth is....I haven't been on for a little while and have only just come across it... after my 12 year old daughter admitted she had been on this site and had done a 'poll' (i have put a 'lock' on my laptop & made sure she cant use my 'ID' on the back-room computer now!)

Thanks... that makes things a little clearer for me :D Not sure why thou as there's alot of MX5's out there that are lowered, have mag's, body kits, roll bars, duf duf etc added ....... I know 'stock standard' is the best - don't ask questions!!!! ... it's all got to do with personal preferences!!! :P

I'm just glad I don't have to add 'things' to my car to make it look so sexy!! :P
