how long it take to get one of these 1.8 torsens interstate couriered/freighted etc from Driftfury?

Sounds like the half/drive shafts moreso, they run the same hex/knuckle as CV's from memory from when I did my torsen instal.

Re Driftfury just send him a PM I guess or find his last post and score his email off that? :?

so a shop that mainly does just reconditioning of CV joints (i know a particularly well priced shop near me) for fwds could also fix up that problem if it is it??

i'd love to get a torsen but my work contract is nearly up & i don't know my long term employment future & i still gotta pay off this car loan. this is a problem that came along at the wrong time so i need a cheap solution now, even if in the long run it'll cost me more :(

hey guys! cheers for the links, data and opinions...
Sorry works been hectic as, and flat out after hours... I had been checking my thread but only just noticed zoombie revived it..

Zoombie atm mines making a whining noise when i let the motor slow me down in gear, so im guessing some bearing somewhere has not taken to the new power.. no real clunks or anything 'yet'.

I think ill be hunting for a 1.8L diff 2nd hand replacement, which seems to be the most popular upgrade, theres a few options around adelaide that ill have to look into, and another person here running ~180atws and im curious as to how he upgraded his..

once again it comes to good old research..

Hey Juffa.. have you got any photos of your diff upgrade install??
Did you have to make any major mods to mounting points or anything for the 2000 diff housing??

Cheers Luke.
