[QLD] O'Reileys

A new recently formed Australian Convertible Club is hosting its first official queensland cruise and would like to invite members from Aus-Cartalk.

The details are as follows...

When - Sunday 30th April

Where - O'Reileys Plateau

Meet up - 9:30am for a 10am departure at Yatala Pies, Yatala North exit on western side of M1 Motorway.

The route - Driving up Mt Tamborine via the Yatala trail, we will head across the mountain and down to Cunungra via the \"goats trail\". Passing through Cunungra we'll head up the road to O'Reileys Plateau stopping for breakfast/morning tea.

After we've finished our light meals we will head back down the road to cunungra. Again passing through Cunungra we'll follow the signs back to Nerang but turning right onto Clagriba Roads when it approaches (appox 15km) leading us eventually to the \"Advancetown Racetrack\" and up and over Springbrook Mountain leading us into Mugeeraba.

After a day of fun twisting roads we'll head in convoy to Cascade Gardens in Broadbeach for an Afternoon BBQ, if Cascade is too busy we'll head upto Macintosh Island (Gold Coast INDY pits) instead.


What to bring - UHF radio, Full tank of petrol, food for BBQ (sausages, steak, kebabs) And ofcourse a great attitude.
If you dont want to drive around with an esky in the boot (or cause it wont fit) you can stop off at woolworths/coles/butcher on the way to Cascade Gardens (i recomend Oasis in Broadbeach)
