I had a great day there too.
Pity I can't say that about my brakes though.
Pedal went to the floor after the third application and were vitually non-existant for the rest of the day.
Won't be buying those pads again.

The day was very well run, and it was great meeting up with all the other forum members up there.

OMY005, any luck with those movies yet? :)

Where can we expect to see the motorkhana times? I took a photo of the first round natio result, but forgot to take photos of the runs after that. While the motorkhana setup isn't likely to be repeated, I still wouldn't mind seeing how I improved through my 3 runs. Will we have to wait for the club rag to come out?

Doing the Clubman circuit would have been nice but I'll just wait for the track day on May 2nd for that!

If you foot goes to the floor I'd be looking at the fluid first.

I find the regularity results very interesting!

Must be the fact that my group wasn't allowed out for our 3rd run therefore we weren't included in the results at all :frown:

I think they're made of recycled sewage!
Hawks.
I had the fluid flushed and changed just before I left, so it's not the fluid that is the trouble.
These pads are OK for 2 fast stops, but after that they turn to mush, and at QIR, you really need good brakes as I was pulling around 185 k's down the straight.
I love the RB74 pads, but I can't seem to get them anymore.
Any suggestions guys?

Which Hawks? I use Hawk HP+ pads and can nail them all day long with no problems. Most of the race guys use Hawk Blues.

Where are the rest of the results? I did a run in Neil's car for the regularity, nominated 1.05 and averaged 1.05.05......was on the window at QR.

Wohoo 1st outright in motorkhana 1, 2nd last in motorkhana 2. Just goes to show, sliding around like a tool might be fun, but it ain't fast. :D

Wicked shots again Rhys. Can't wait to see the rest. What to shoot weddings for me? 8)

Cal.

Getting excellent use out of that wide angle I see, Rhys. :) Nice looking effect with the grey NC too.

What made the motorkhanas differ? I was away getting a radiator when some of the stuff was on.

Stunning photos Rhys
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
