I'd be more inclined to believe the benefits of steel braided brake lines than \"special\" ignition leads, but yeah horses for courses I s'pose...

thanks JBT you all knew what i meant

Not really suited for street use but when you are out on the race track lap after lap after lap is where you REALLY feel the difference with a consistant firm pedal which is what they where designed for 8)

If you are serious about brakes, braided lines are part of the complete package where every little step improvement makes a better overall and more consistent product. If you are really serious about brakes, you'd fit billet multi piston calipers with fancy euro names to reduce flex and increase pad surface area too but then who's got that kinda money. 8) Braid is also more damage resistant in a racing environment. Another good thing. Probably overkill on the street but if your into serious track work, a sensible mod as opposed to some of the other stuff I've seen over the years......now...where's those damn crystals! :)

Sorry to go off topic, but you would be suprised at how much more affordable those fancy brakes are getting now. We got a quote for the race car a few months back for Billet Superlite 6 Lug Mount calipers and they where around the $450ea new off memory. I was very suprised at the price of these compared to a few years back! But - way overkill for the street here 8)
