(Sunday) Tipachinas Touring

Meandered down to Alstonville where the last few miles turned into corridors of purple flowers - the Tiboouchinas. Lunch followed a great drive of wonderful views of the coast overlooking Ballina.

Tipachinas Touring

Meet Leslie Laver Park, Mudgeeraba (exit 79, western roundabout, 40 yards south of the roundabout)

8:30 for 9:00 departure.

A meander down to Alstonville - home of the Tipachinas. On the way down we'll go through the Numinbar Valley and then cross into the tweed valley. Morning tea will be at a park with a lookout, so bring your thermos. The last few miles will be through a corridor of purple flowers - the Tiboouchinas. Lunch will be in a restaurant / garden nursery complex. On the way home, for those that need a caffeine hit, we'll call into Mooball.

I might bring some membership forms along as well. I think we're going to get some fresh faces. The GC Chapter seems to be swelling each run!

I'll make sure I polish my BAR and KNOB...

Especially now I know its bigger than Jules Knob !

I'm borrowing a 10-22mm lens for my Cano for the day too... Should be some good BLING PHOTOS if things go to plan !

suggested southside meet spot is Grand Plaza shopping centre, carpark outside the main entrance off Browns Plains rd @ 7.15 to leave @ 7.30 sharp :mrgreen:

AJ, we've organised a meet with another westie just before the first toll gate on the Logan Tollway at 0745. If you're going via the LT we can meet along there somewhere e.g just past the Mt Lindsay Hwy on ramp at 0750 +/- 2minutes. (our mobile 0401 752795).

I can't undo our arrangements due to external factors and I'll be off the net now until termorra just prior to departure.
