Does that mean NB8As only, or all NB's?

I got the oil changed and a new seal put on the gear box a few weeks ago at the local mechanics - The boss show'd me an engine with a ventilated block.. :(
Commercial vehicle, said it had done 50,000k's.
Had'nt had a lot of oil changes, but the problem he said is that ethanol destroys the oil (it was - I got my hands in for a look and a feel).
I thought this was all an urban myth about the dangers of ethanol - but I am now changing oil often and trying to avoid that suagar cane stuff

but, but the ethanol fuels have a higher octane rating.

when the government invests more in alternative fuels maybe then we will have to use ethanl :mrgreen:

how often did you used to change oil how often do you now?
