Qld - Natmeet Concourse Run 15 April 2006

For those members who aren't going to Natmeet, there was a thought of doing a run out to Kooralbyn on the Saturday to have a look at the cars being judged for the concourse and get a feel for Natmeet. Note: You won't be able to enter your car in the concourse, just look.

If you are interested in going out to Kooralbyn, let me know by e-mail on peter.steinback@gmail.com

I am unable to make it on the day due to other commitments so I am also looking for a volunteer to lead the pack. The run can just go straight down to Kooralbyn if you like, it will be up to you. So if you are willing to lead the run, let me know at the above e-mail.

Any idea what sort of time youâ€™d be going?

Iâ€™d be no good as a leader as would get lost.

Concourse starts at 8.30am and goes till 10.15am. Cars will be on the road by 10.30am.

I would imagine if you wanted to have a good look at the cars you would have to be there at 8.30am.

PT has kindly offered to lead the pack so I will point him here if he hasn't seen it already.

He can then let you know start times, place etc.

We were thinking of going, but seeing as this is the world's fastest Concourse, I don't think we will bother :!:

PT is unable to make it so I am loking for another person to lead the pack.

You would have to leave Brisbane around 7am and the best place to meet would probably be the Acacia Ridge Hotel on Beaudesert Road.

Any volunteers?

Will we be able to take photos and video there? I enquired about doing this at the track day and was advised that it was not a public event. And would be limited to the spectator area only. And if I was to video or photograph anybody I would need permission from that person.

I got the feeling that non Natmeet participants were not really welcome even though I am a member of the club. I hope I am wrong about this though.
