Hey micksta.... why not just put an aftermarket one in? You'll get much better sound, my unit in my NB8B skips ALOT over bumps even small bumps. The only reason I am keeping mine is that I want to add one of these http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/product_info. ... cts_id/940 so I can use my iPod in the car. I didnt want to add anything to attract would be theives as I like to park in shopping centres occassionally :P

My NB8B headunit has never skipped neither has the OEM in dash stacker I replaced it with. You might need to get yours looked at Amanda.

By who? Its not under any warranty... so I'd have to pay for it to be looked at. Unless its not seated properly in the dash. I was thinking of buying another one to have just in case.... maybe the laser is out of alignment???

If it's not under warranty, don't worry about it. There's nothing they can do except for replace it anyway. Just go aftermarket. 8)
