Thanks to Mr and Mrs Bigdog again. Sorry I couldn't stay longer this time!
......and a huge thanks to Garry for all my repairs on my baby! (and Marty too)
As for the shopping Dave........supporting all you boys with your coke habits, doesn't count as a real shopping trip!

Soooo, my rollbar FINALLY came in on Wednesday and I helped Daniel (at Mania) fit it this afternoon!
Only took 45 minutes from go to wo.
Went through the gorge after (with traffic unfortunately) and managed to give it a little run.
I swear it handles better
I was told that it will stiffen the rear end a litlle but it sits so flat now! I'd say it's made quite a big difference, gives the car a lot more confident feel.
No fabricating needed, no small drill needed (it was MASSIVE), clears the soft top by an inch on the corners and clears the fuel tank by several inches.
Only small little complaint were some scuff marks straight out of the box but i'm VERY happy overall. Gives me a lot more piece of mind too.

Hot Rodders wrote:Sorry guys, but where from and how much were the bars? Tried to find the info on your thread, but couldn"t find the info. Loks as though you have had a great time as a group putting them in.
Cheers.
$690 polished alloy and $560 black powder coated steel from mania as a group buy of 14 bars in total. Quality and supply from Brown Davis seems to really vary - try getting a quote from a roll bar fabricator for a custom install before you commit.
