Bugga! There goes my idea! :( Chrissy, I think they'd look great. :P

Beware though. I've heard of quite a few that have buckled very easily.

By the sounds of it, they don't seem very strong.

Don't worry about me. If you like it, do it. :P

I know my wheels look great, but I like the look of 17's and am tinkering with the idea.

I've got another idea.... Make me a reasonable offer for my existing wheels and tyres, and they're yours! :P :D

Hi Chrissy,

Yes, I agree the wheels would look great. However, I too have heard they are easily damaged. Check with Alf, I noticed that he had NB8B wheels on his SE on Fred's run. I think two of his original SE wheels were damaged in general driving.

I bent one badly on a pothole on the Hume highway. If you do get them, keep your current wheels and use those for any long trips, particularly on those third world roads up north.

Another SE owner on the forum bent all four at once (thats $2200 thanks, kerching).

I've still got my set sitting in the garage (plus the bent one at a friends house in Sydaney). I may drag them out on special occasions - they're a bit gutter-rashed as well, from her previous demo days. I love the look of them. If you're serious about buying a set, though, you might want to try these on for size. I think they will affect ride quality with std suspension.

hth,
Alf.

They look alright, but for the money they cost you can get better rims...

Hi Chrissy!

PM forum member PT and ask him about his new rims. His SE rims gave him some trouble and the new ones are a similar style, except they look better, they are stronger and are a fraction of the price...

If you're reading PT, post some pics 8) Mia is HOT!(for a red car)

They are great looking wheels. I've been trying to source those rims in Victoria, but no one has stock. :(

The supplier's not sure if they will still be available in the future either.

The manufacturers internet e-mail address isn't replying to my enquiries. , so I don't know they'll be that good to deal with. :?
