Re:
As has been said use all 3 per side, it won't effect the height of the bar, two go in the seat belt hole, flat ends top and bottom, then the BD bar ontop (flush with the plastic trim) then the 3rd one of those, seat belt sits on top of it.
I can take a pic if you need one.

ok cool
does the front base of the BD bar sit flush with the metal of the parcel shelf? or is it slightly raised?
i had originally put in only 2 of those washer things, and the BD bar wont sit flush at the front base.
also, is the front inside bolt meant to line up with the softtop tonneau cover bolt that was originally there? cept we just have to drill a new 10mm hole instead of the tiny one that is there?

namster your last post isn't making sense to me, what do you mean you're using none of those washers (spacers)? They get reused as originally only that there is now a bar between them. I can't remember there may have also been a flat washer which isn't needed as the bar is the same thickness.
Once the bar is ontop of the plastic trim the front base sits above the parcel shelf slightly.
You're description of the inside bolt is correct.

I received my BD bar on monday and am looking to put it in over the next couple of days, I did however get an installation giude from brown davis on how to install the bar which seems to clear a few things up.
Private message me if you want a copy or email BD from the pdf file.
i might post some pics as I went along and some finished/installed pix.
I just put an na front lip on the car also, very happy, it looks shmicko, pretty straight forward to install also.
out.
