For stealth mode when i go across the border so i can be undetected by the mod police!

is there a huge difference in heat transfer between the acrylics and powder coat?
I was planning on just doing a light coat of acrylic as to not interfer with the heat transfer of the intercooler and hopefully the paint won't come off under the heat.
