Don't worry Garry, some of the guys are coming late afternoon, so there should still be some frivolity going on into the evening... :D

OK, will stock up on Vaseline (for the lens!!) and see how we go.

Seriously though, this has been a most beneficial exercise - I now have a clean workshop, have cured the starter motor problem on the clubman, changed it's coolant and given it and the Buchanan a run in preparation for moving them out of the way on Saturday. Just need to change the wheels on the car trailer and get the diff reset on the Buchanan next... there's always another car job to do! Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday!

Seeing BJ near home last night reminded me to warn you all about the speed hump near the top end of our street - if your car is lowered approach very slowly and put one side over the hump by getting over to the left or right (depending on the low point under your car) as far as possible. My car is fine over it (Standard height), and Dave just gets over it (konis & kings). Don't come down Railway Parade from the Springwood end as there are four more on that side, come from Blaxland end and you only cross one.

Cheers,

John.

Bad news for those of us who ordered polished alloy bars - they haven't arrived in Sydney yet!! I won't cancel tomorrow as I want to do some other jobs on the car anyway, and the black bars have all arrived so there should still be a few bars to fit regardless. Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Cheers,

John.

Just got an email from Simone too. There were 3 or 4 polished ones (Bigdog, Dave, myself, and someone else?) and none of them have arrived. :x All the black ones are there though. Not Simone's fault at all but was looking forward to having it on at Wakefield.

I even booked in for an alignment nice and early (8am) so I could get up to your place early! Oh well. I'll come up anyway and tinker around. Do some fluid changes, sort a few rattles out and if there's time, install some speakers. :)
