Warrimoo Dodgy BD Roll Bar Fitting Day - Pics Available

Postby bigdog » Mon Feb 20, 2006 10:31 am

As a whole bunch of us have just purchased BD's from Mania, I have agreed to host a group fitting day at my place in Warrimoo (lower Blue Mountains NSW for the geographically challenged) Kick off at 9.30am and will keep going till whenever. All welcome, including assistant installers and groupies   You will need to bring something for the barbie and you favourite beverage, and if you have a drill and appropriate bits that would help. I have cover for 4 cars at a time if its wet, if its fine we could work on 8 at once. We'll be doing some other maintenance jobs as well, so- the more the merrier, come for a drive and join in the socialising and spanner holding!
PM me for address details, and please drive carefully and quietly in Warrimoo - we don't want to upset the neighbours!

Cheers,

John. 0412201115

With regard to the drill as smaller/shorter one is best, as the rear window on an NB is real close to where the holes need to go.

Thanks Andrew - anything else we should prepare for? I assume the bar comes with appropriate bolts/nuts/washers etc?

Yes you should get a bag with bolts and backing plates etc etc.

Ont thing i did require was a thickish washer to fill some of the space on the seatbelt tower bolts.

That's fine - I've got a good washer collection and the hardware shop's just down the road if we need more.

Sounds like fun but I have to go to Wollongong early in the morning so the fun would probably be over by the time I got back.

Don't worry Garry, some of the guys are coming late afternoon, so there should still be some frivolity going on into the evening... :D
