Im interested in getting these rims to use on track days, does anyone know if they are too wide to use, or if the will scrub?? the rears are 15x8 +26 offset, and fronts are 15x7.5 +35 offset...

I reckon the fronts will be ok, but rears will scrub, and it miiight still scrub a touch even if the rear lips are rolled.

The ideal offset for a 15x8 on the rear is around 48-50. They clear the guards and clear the strut towers(just).

A 26 offset will definately foul the outer guards.

Wow...15mm, that's a lot of meat to remove from the wheel! I'm not so sure if I'd want to be driving it after that....if you shaved 15mm off my wheels you'd be machining right past the taper for the wheelnuts.

Wheel companies don't make a different cast for each offset. They make one and machine it down to specific offsets. So, on a wheel with a offset of +26, if you remove 10mm you now have a offset of +36.

In your case, you likely have a offset of +40 or 45 and if you took 10mm off you would be into the wheel studs.

Very few cars run offsets higher then +45 other then a few exceptions. ie. Subaru's, Corvette's, etc...

You are correct but after they machine them they drill the bolt holes and taper to suit the offset as they still have to fit on standard wheel studs. Removing 10mm will probably remove the wheel nut taper.
