Particularly if that first loop still has the off camber bit

Thanks JBT. I was pretty happy with it as it's really only my 2nd time there (1st was a come & try day).

And yes the invisible apex on that 1st loop is brown-undies territory - just had to bury the welly and point the thing in the right direction until it was straight enough to hit the brakes.

Anybody ever taken 2 sets of rims to the track without the use of a trailer or support vehicle? I'm thinking of removing the pax seat and piling them in there (strapped down of course).

Cheers,
T

Fantastic time :)

I don't think the wheels will fit. I have thought about this too, since my 032Rs are way past being road legal. You might get two on the passenger side, sans seat. But I can't even fit one wheel in the boot, so I don't know where the rest would go.

They will fit, but I can tie them to the roll bar.

Sabre,
Nice one. Should be a barrel of monkeys! (or at least a large bagful)

Cal,
Thanks mate! Hopefully the rollbar is going in on Saturday so I might be able to get the wheels in. Did you just put them on the back deck and strap them there or what?

Yeah, sorry guys, been pretty busy and didn't get to post the below e-mail from Paul.

I will advise the full entry list sometime before the weekend. I believe that because we made the full quota that the sessions will continue for an extra hour (ie 5 hours instead of 4).

I can't wait! :D :D :D . The electrical glitch that prevented me from joining you on the Glasshouse run appears to be an intermittent sticky relay. Shall get another.

Cheers,
Danny

Didn't, but not to say they wouldn't work either. I took the passenger seat out and stacked them on top of each other. They go pretty high, but you should be able to put a strap through all 4 wheels and around the rollbar. Bought another great toy for this job on the weekend........mmmm 1000kg alloy low rider jack. Car is in the air in 2 seconds.

Cal.

Ps will have to catch up soon too mate. :D

Cal,
Cool. Got some tie downs. Hopefully I'll have the rollbar in too...
Where'd you get the jack? How much? I'm getting really tired of driving up on pavers to get my existing trolley jack under there......

You're on mate. Got the BBQ set up on the balcony now......

Sheck,
The odd early morning blast also gets a mention here.... Hope to see you next time..

Cheers,
T

Cheers,
Danny

ps. The next one is scheduled for sometime in May...will let everyone know as we get closer to that date.

Yeah that was my problem. I couldn't drive it onto the blocks of wood with a buggered diff. :frown: Neil picked them up on the weekend from a place at Coopers Plains. They are $300, so not a cheap jack. That said, looks like it will last a lifetime and weighs 14kg.
