Dashboard crack & minor dents - repairer ?

Postby Greg Roberts » Mon Feb 06, 2006 1:52 pm

Hi

I have just bought a MX5 (93 - 1.6L) with a few blemishes .
(I adjusted for these in the price) (black duco)

I was after recommendations for repairers (North Shore pref.)
who will do a good job at a reasonable price :

- The dash has a single 10cm crack in the vinyl
- It has a couple of minor 20c size indentations, one on the bonnet
and another on the front right panel

Thanks in advance

P.s: While the meter is running, the soft top window (plastic) is OK ish
but a bit discolored, can you recomment some one for a replacement window plastic or glass , thanks

Try polishing the rear window first with the Meguiars products, a few windows have been brought back using that.

On monday i have a guy coming to quote of reparing the 15cm single crack in the vinyl dash board (the top horizontal one).

>> Can anyone tell me a reasonable price for the repair ?

I don't want to pay close to a 2nd hand price from a wrecker.

Thanks

Rod
