Abyss and orx626 - I hope you've got alternative passengers, beause there's now a very spiffy cryptic quizz n trivia lined up for each section, and it needs a navigator!!! :!:

PS I recce'd the route myself today - some absolutley top notch driving roads, including some I haven't been on before (I thought I knew 'em all)
Hoo boy, it'll be a hoot.

PPS Brekky is $6.99 for the bacon n eggs or $4 for a b&e muffin. It's Moby Vic's Mobil NORTHBOUND, for those meeting us there.

Not happy JAN!!!!!!!!!!

Took the car for a run to the in-laws this afternoon. Thermofan refused to switch on and the intercooler water pump was running at double pace. Hmmmm electrical gremlin that needs to be found and shot!!! So I'm going to have to pass on tomorrows run until I get it sorted. Hope you all have an excellent time.... I'm sure you will. :D

Cheers,
Danny

Can anyone offer saboteur a spare seat?

He's a future MX-5 owner and lives in Sinnamon Park (just off the Western Freeway).

If anyone can offer him a seat, please post! :)

Great run! Thanks for organising, Mikes! Being able to run at your own pace and regroup every so often is a great way to run things. We got a little lost at one stage, but I blame PT for that! :D

Oh, the 'surprise' scones at the end - I thought they were complimentary, else I'd have not paid $7.50 for one scone. :)

Moral of the story: watch the run sheet, not the car in front!

There was a lot of positive feedback on the "regroup point" format. Talking to El Pesidente afterwards, I think we'll see it used more often as a substitute for the social drive convoy format on certain kinds of roads - especially twisty ones - in the future. Thank Okibi for it: I got the idea from the WA Club guys when we were over there enjoying their fantastic hospitality! :D Okibi, pass on our appreciation!

Yeah, sorry about that... me neither! Hey, my bit ended when the run finished :frown: [/flicks blame]

And thanks everyone for turning up and making it such a great bash - 24 cars at 5:30 in the morning isn't abad effort!!! Two non MX Mazdas added a bit of variety - the RX8 and RX4. And the visitor in the Golf.

AJ you know that stories about red NAs being faster and thus in front of black NCs is a COW so what did you expect  . I've just finished washing and washing and washing the car...........but it still smells like a freakin' dairy farm

Many many thanks to the Mikes and and their wives who made it all happen from team JBT. I'm pretty sure the black eye that SWMBO has given me for casting doubts upon her navigational, mathematical and observation skills will be gone by next run.

The regroup thing worked really well too. Looking forward to the next run in two weeks :D 8)

I'm itching for the next one! Great run. So is saboteur for when a kind soul takes him as passenger.

And my girlfriend whas complimented on her fine navigational skills also! She did really well until my street directory said "LIMIT OF MAPS". :)

Oh and my wheel arches still smelt like poo until a few hours ago when I washed it off.
