New wheels - Enkei J-speed III

Postby Roadst3r » Sun Jan 22, 2006 4:48 pm

After 3 months of waiting and travelling interstate, I have FINALLY got the Enkei J-speed III's on - phew! :P
The wheels are 16x7 33 offset, wrapped in fresh Yokohama C-drives and complemented with red tipped Autoexe lugnuts.
Probably not to everyone's tastes but I love the look! Agressive but not overdone!

All I need now is a set of Tein SS to drop the height ever so slightly!

Hey Al glad you made it ok, hope you enjoyed the drive.
Didn't waste any time getting the wheels on I see (as it should be! )
Looks good, very racecar, but then again I am a fan of the Dark Side!
So what are you waiting for go out and get the Teins :D

Thanks Eugene!

Was a pretty easy drive! 9 hours door to door including breaks. Was hoping to get some nice cool weather down here in VIC. Ended up getting 41 degree heat! It's stinkin hot atm!

Yep, Teins are definitely the next stage - just need to start earning some more $$$.

Yep definitely hard to get at a reasonable price! Thanks for sneaking them into the country for me Babalouie! 8)

I weighed these on my bathroom scales with me carrying the wheel -
they came up to 6.8kgs, which i believe is a little lighter than the OEM 16x6.5 curved 5 spokes for the NB.

I didn't notice that much difference in performance, but the wider offset seems to give the car more stability in sweeping corners.

Looks awesome, gotta love the dish! 8)

I think I would have preferred black centres though :?:

I reckon that'd be too much black. It's a nice balance the way it is :D

Dish is always good! I see you're already part of the dish brigade with your sweet 17's! 8)
I initially thought the polished centres might look wierd, but its starting to grow on me now. Looks even better at night time!

Black racing also have a very similar looking wheel, except they are 6 spokes - seems to be a bit of a trend now.

Can you still get these wheels over there, Kula? I was under the impression that they were discontinued? Do you know anyone I can contact, just incase i bing my bling and need a replacement?
