So how long did it take to get the hardtop of your 'real sports car' Rob?
I seem to remember someone saying it was over a month before the top came off !!!

A question for the people:

Would delaying the spur run till the 29th suit people better as it is definately being forecast as 41.c ? (according to the bureau of guestomology)

I am considering posponing it for the following sunday, jus a thought at the moment.

Pospone or keep it as it is?

41 is way too hot, 27th sounds much better to me... providing its not 41 again! As for Air-Con mine isnt all that cool, I would bake in my car in that heat :(

Well, I spoke the wife and she said even if no-one comes she still wants to go to stephensons falls, so I will be at the officeworks carpark at 8:30 with a 9am departure.

See some of you guys there.

Well, I'll be heading up to Marysville today via the Reefton Spur (I prefer it to the Black Spur). We may be staing there overnight, so might see you tomorrow. We'll also go up to the falls again, though not the most spectacular time of year. It should be cooler up there.

Cheers,
Alf

Well we are back from the spur. It was deserted and we had a ripper of a trip up. The smell of Eucolypt and a cool breeze on an empty road up really got the senses going! We saw Alf and waved and also a white NA with gear srtapped to the boot. It was cool at the falls and felt like a giant air conditioner. Lunch at the bakery on the verandah and then off home. Stopped at Healsville to put up the roof and turn the air con on.
Thanks for a great dayand sorry you other picas dropped out!

We debated whether to push on and tackle Reefton as well, but decided it was better to leave t for another day.

so the question of whether it would be hotter or cooler up there seems to have been answered...

Oh, by the way... Hello ALF, we saw you driving past just outside of marysville, actually there was another NA up there too, looked like they had been at a B & B, they had a luggage rack on the boot too.
