mania sub frame braces

Postby emecksphive » Mon Jan 09, 2006 10:40 pm

hello all,

can someone post or send me pics of the mania sub frame braces fitted on their car, I'm pretty sure i know where they go, but i just want ot be 100% sure, the front goes on the holes already present in the shock towers and will need to bent a little to tighten right up, and the rear is the linked one and will need a re-alignment done on the back wheels, unless i use a 4 post hoist and mark the bolts before i release the tension,

hope this is right, sorry for the essay!

JR

Bring them along to the club meeting at Wheelspin this arvo.

We can fit them there!
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

For the rear I didn't raise the car just undid the nuts and place the bar on. It was a snug fit as you can see in the pic the ends of the bar touch the rail lips but it bolted on fine. Visually I couldn't notice any change on the bolts regarding alignment but I'll be getting the alignment done soon anyway as the car needed it.

What grade Tae Kwon Do are you, I got up to red belt and then got distracted by girls ... this was years back!

How did you go?

Did you notice any difference, or it it too hard to put enough load down in this wet weather?
