Hi guys,

Anyone that ordered one of these robbins soft tops - approx how much did they charge for shipping, and is it just the top, or frame included? My frame is very stiff, and latches need replacing aswell, so i need the whole kit!

Thanks in advance,

Boags

u only get the vinyl or cloth bit. frame not included.

frame is so heavy, u don't want to pay shipping for it.

Try MX5 Plus in Brisbane http://www.mx5plus.com.au/ or MX5 Mania down south.

You don't need to replace the NA frame to put a cloth soft top on. The major difference is the window. To fit a glass window soft top you need to modify the frame by adding some straps that ensure the NA frame will support the heavier glass window correctly and fold down correctly as well. Therefore if you order a cloth (or vinyl) soft top with a glass window ensure that you order one for a NA frame which should inlclude the necessary parts and instructions.

thanks Juffa for your comments, it is spot on.

I guess i need to explain my situation. i already replaced mine with a complete NB unit (vinyl, glass window and NB frame). there is nothing wrong with mine but i like the look and quality of cloth. i know someone is interested with my top but i'll have to sell with the frame and hence i will need a frame (NA or NB) if i sell....

maybe i should spend 40 odd grand for a cloth top and get a NC for free.
