I'd love to know how much they cost.
Sounds like you only need to cut about 5mm of the bumper near the insides of the lights to fit the NB8B SE lights.
You will have an extra 1mm gap in the middle below the lights.
Sounds like a pretty easy job with a dremel and a file, just take your time so no mistakes.
You'd also need the correct plugs to wire in the NB8B lights.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I have done the conversion. You need later front lights, new parker light adapters, new high and low beam adapters and new two front splash guards for the left and right wheel arches. Beast to get the fog lights from IL motorsport, not geniune, but about half the price. All up it will cost around $500 per headlight for NB8B style + globes,$250 front bumper, $500 for painting, $300 for fog lights, $100 for wiring plugs (9001 and 9002 high and low beam adapters are expensive and could only be sourced from US), $90 for mazda fog light switch, $100 for splash guards. $2440 all up, not cheap but looks good.

Well i have the NB8B front; i still need to get it painted.
I'll just dremel 1mm off the middle bit under the NB8A lights and put up with the 5mm on the inside of the lights.
I don't need the fog lights, i have a much better use for those holes.
Although i could DIY some fog lights pretty easily and i have an NA6 mazda foglight switch (without the light in the switch).
Will i need the "two front splash guards for the left and right wheel arches" ? what's the difference between the NB8A ones?

NB8C lights fit NB8A?
I don't know if they are available in Australia anymore, but here are some links for info :
http://www.e-styling.co.uk/scpro/estyli ... urer=Mazda
http://morette.com/products/HEADLIGHTS/ ... /HLMX5.htm
I bought them new via an EBay store located in Melbourne, cost was $294 for a pair.
OKIBI posted pics of another brand to fit NB8A in another area of the forum.

Lou I have a feeling those NB8B headlights aren't sitting correctly against that bumper.
Didn't you use to have an NB8B fron with NB8A headlights? I have about a 1cm gap on the inside of the NB8A headlights with the NB8B bumper.
So i'd expect those headlights need to be moved further towards the centre of the car. NB8A lights are also a bit more curved at the bottom.
As Lou pointed out the NB8A/B tails lights are an easy swap and a few of us have done this.
