recommend audio installer in melbourne for NA
I am looking for a recommendation for an audio installer in Melbourne, who is familiar, or who has done a good job on installing a head unit, amp, replacement door and headrest speakers and a sub in a 1989 NA.

I had Central Car Radios in Brighton work on my '92 NA , Back in '93. They did a great job, custom sub-box on rear parcel shelf (2x10"). Don't want to take work away from "Me" though
Cheers

Yes or you come back to your car to find they have used a piece of black plastic ribbed mind you to fill the gap between the din and the OEM pocket... thats what they did to my NA. I went off my brain (because they told me that would use a pocket when I first enquired) at them and it was like... stiff it was all we had and the guy that booked the job in was away
That was the audio place on Keilor Rd diagnolly opposite the Mazda Dealer... and a few years ago now, mind you.

On another note, are the pre97 (smaller than standard din) consoles still available new ?
the pre97 is narrower but taller.
