Soft Top Rain Rail

Postby JBT » Fri Dec 23, 2005 1:54 pm

I have an NA8 with a somewhat sad roof :( . I’m thinking of replacing it with a complete NB roof and frame.

Is there just the one type of rain rail or did they differ between models :?:

I spoke to Centenary Mazda a while back about this (was just getting a soft top replacement figure for car hunting reasons) and they said the NA soft top now has a glass window and comes complete with the rain rail. Not sure if it's the same part or not though, but they might know if you call them?

I believe that there was just one type. I have already done this exact swap onto my NA6 and the NB top was complete with rainrail etc and it fits just fine.

Thanks for the info folks. Still researching what needs to be done. Looks like the rain rail wil not be a problem then.

Take a look at the Robyns?/Robins? tops, i think they're on http://www.miatamania.com.

I'd just replace the rain rail as well for peace of mind.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
