The headlights match up with the bonnet and guards but I think the bumpers are slightly different. I've heard of the NB8B/C bumper being fitted to an NB8A fairly successfully though. Maybe you should borrow a light and try it out.
The tailights are the same as yours except the indicators are clear instead of yellow.

This is Carlos's car
I bought myself a NB8B front for my birthday, now i just need time to test fit it, see if i need to shave a little off the plastic where the NB8A light is more rounded then send it and my hard top off to be painted.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Ok .. from what Carlos (safetyman) has told me ..
The NB8A lights and the NB8B lights ARE Different.
The top edge that lines up with the bonnet is the same.
The short edge that lines up with the 1/4 pannel is the same.
The NB8A light is rounder at the bottom and about 5mm shorter on the inside than the NB8B light.
"approximately midway on the 98 light is about 1mm thicker which makes it a little trickier getting the bumper on."
Easy way to pick the difference
NB8A lights have 2 areas, the indicator (orange plastic) and the main headlight (high and low beam), the NB8B lights have 3 areas and a different plug to connect the headlight i presume.
