Car transport and storage in sydney

Postby lowmiata » Sat Dec 03, 2005 12:14 am

So Moving to sydney is becoming more and more a possibility!

I am wondering if anyone works somewhere, where they have a loading dock where you could unload a car from a pantec truck say 3 feet deep and obviously be able to get the car of the loading dock

And also does anyone (in sydney) have their MX or other car stored somewhere other than on thier property ie at a storage facility etc?
Going to do some googling to see whats around

Any help greatly appreciated

Ryan.

Maybe rent a single slot at Millers Self Storage? There's enough room in some of their's for a car. And i'm guessing the further west you, the cheaper it will be to find space.

How long are you looking to store? Maybe someone on here can lend a spot for a few weeks while you sort it out.

There is a big warehouse in Botany which is purpose built ot store cars.
A friend of mine has about 6 of his stored there, and they charge by the car per month.
I'll try and get some details for you.

It's got to be close to record, Lou. I'm really struggling to find any posts significantly older than this one. 15 Nov 2005 is the best I can find so far.

Lot of threads older than Nov-Dec 2005 seem to be lost some years ago prior to Okibi taking over, when there was an HDD failure.

Have I missed something? Is Lou responding to the thread, doesn't read that way to me, and Lowmiata's post is dated 2005 ...

There was another post from a new poster above Lou's plugging some storage facility.
