Part no's for NA6 import trim to aussie headunit install

Postby PASHN8 » Mon Nov 28, 2005 12:06 pm

Hey lads,

I have seen a few part no's thrown around, but wanted to ask once and for all for the current part no's for the NA head unit surround and pocket for when you fit a single DIN aussie headunit into a import NA6CE.

I fitted one last night, as as expected the headunit doesn't sit flush with the trim surround, and the nice 1.5DIN gap underneath.

Just wanted to grab the '97 model (i think?) part no's for the replacement aussie trim surround and matching 1 DIN pocket to fit underneath.

Cheers,
:)

Ok, from Sabre's MX5 workshop site :

N041-55-210A00 - console fascia ($85)

B02A-66-9M0A - dash pocket ($9.90)

Are these current and correct?

(I think Mazda trade price would be cheaper, and easier as I can just pop down the road and grab it Craig, my headunit I fitted on the weekend is irritating me!:))

You need to get the metal dividing bracket thingo as well. This goes across the double DIN hole to make 2 single DIN holes. It gives the head unit something to sit on and the dash pocket something to clip into to hold it in place.

So does everyone concur that the parts to order from Mazda are :

N041-55-210A00 - console fascia ($85)

B02A-66-9M0A - dash pocket ($9.90)

Just want to double check before ordering them :)

Why dont you go to a Mazda dealer and have a look on the parts fische for a 97 model? All the bits with their part numbers should be there.
