There is some flat out wrong advice being given in this thread. Get on to ozclubbies to talk to the guys that have actually got cars on the road and talk to your local engineer.

That's where I'm from deviant , and have built and gone through all the RMS hurdles of registering a scratch build. Currently waiting for the VIN plate from my engineer.

Although this is an old thread and I am sure that many of you know.
The Exocets are now available in Australia.
They can be registered
It's not that hard to register them.
There are agents in most states building these as I write this (I am one of them and my build is happening in SA)
