This post tantalises a new Lysholm supercharger kit for MX5s, cold-side with water/air charge cooling, the blower coming from our very own Harrops.

The thread from which that post comes shows the development of the concept, and the fabrication of the manifold and intercooler, fascinating stuff if you are into that sort of thing.

Should be worth keeping an eye on this.

It is an interesting prospect. I've never liked that MX5 blower kits necessitate having the throttle body at the back of the inlet manifold; it would be interesting to see if they could incorporate one of Harrop's front entry setups.
