G'day,

I just setup a Bluetooth ELM327 dongle and FORScan Lite for about $25, but you can do it cheaper buying from China on eBay.

You need an Android phone, a KONNWEI KW902 branded OBD2 dongle, and either the demo version of FORscan or the paid version.

Once installed and connected, use the dash or graph settings to configure the MSM*** PID's.

Stick your phone in a cradle and you're set to go.

Free software will allow only one graph or dash item, whilst the paid version will show everything.

Too many items will cause display lag, but they can be stored and exported for later viewing and diagnostics. Very handy feature!

Got an iPhone? (Silly you!)
You'll need the Wi-Fi version of the dongle; Apple didn't fully implement BT on your phone.

I Hope this helps someone.

Cheers,
AzzA

I've had the demo app for a while but haven't played with it yet. Have had a quick read through their manual on the website but didn't understand some of it. Which PID is used for boost?

There is a search function for pids... Just start typing MSM...

It comes up with two... MSM_MAP and MSM_TPSPOS.

Or something similar, sorry I'm mobile and cannot check. There are only two MSM PIDs, so easy enough to get the right one. ;)

Engrish? Who spreech engrish?!?

Ah thanks for that. Saw those two but didn't know what they were . Will be interesting to compare with my VDO boost gauge.
