Would anyone mind posting a photo of their SE engine bay showing how the MBC is fitted. I'm an old fart and have baffled myself with science. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If I take a pic you won't see most of it as it is very hidden so I will try to describe it.

I used a Turbosmart MBC which required newer smaller hose to fit it. The reason being is that the factory T-Piece that feeds the wastegate and boost control solenoid has larger nipples with smaller hoses adapted onto larger hoses. Very messy for a factory job.
The nipples on the Throttle body elbow and the wastegate are the same size as the Turbosmart nipples.
I cannot remember what size it was, but Supercheap Auto had the right size on a reel and you just cut what you need.
You will also need 5 very small hose clamps to clamp the hose's on nice and tight.

1. Remove your entire air box.
2. Remove the little hose running from your throttle body inlet to the T-Piece that feeds the factory boost control solenoid mounted to the the front of the motor.
3. Remove the T-Piece and the hose that feeds the Factory boost control solenoid.
4. Remove the Hose that went from the T-Piece to the Turbo Wastgate. This is why we removed the airbox as you cannot get to it easily with the air box in place.
5. Install new hose from Throttle body to MBC inlet. I place my MBC under he Turbo inlet hose/air box out to camouflage it. Its up to you whee you place it, just remember you need access to adjust it.
6. Install new hose from MBC outlet to Turbo wastage.
7. Block off gaping hole on the factory solenoid. I just used one my rubber caps off the top of a Tein coilover with the 5th hose clamp.
8. Reinstall airbox.
9. Starting at lowest setting on the controller. Run the car on a freeway at full throttle and adjust boost until you experience the boost cut(11PSI) under full load in 4th gear. For me this was somewhere around 4000RPM, ie you will not be speeding. Another way is drag the brakes with full throttle in 2nd or 3rd gear. Knock the controller back a few clicks and enjoy the extra boost.

Also, doing this with a boost gauge installed makes it much easier. I just bought a SAAS mechanical gauge from Supercheap Auto which came with a few things to hook it up. It just needed an extra bit of short small hose to go back to the intake manifold nipple as the kit only had hose for the boost gauge side of the T-piece. This saved cutting the factory hose to put the T-piece in between.
I temporarily installed it running it from the intake manifold vacuum hose at the very back of the intake plenum with a T-Piece. I ran the hose through the back of the bonnet, then through the passenger window of the car.
The passenger then read the boost to me as I drove.
