SE bugs with forged internals & turbo upgrade..

Hi all,

I've got a couple of questions to begin with please..
- Is axle tramping common on SEs
- Is 9 psi back pressure normal for a 2.5 inch SMB exhaust. When tuner felt GT2860RS was possibly restricted at the upper end of revving (running 16 psi), he checked the back exhaust system pressure.
- What's has been the fix for the fuel tank fuel pick-up design issue
- Is a Yaris or LS1 coils the best common upgrade with respect to coil replacement

Thanks in advance..

It can be, there is some technique to it, but your alignment might not suit hard launches and your bushes may be worn.

Im not sure but your exhaust is not really suitable for your other system components, get a 3" straight through exhaust t match your other upgrades.

Im not aware that there is an issue. In standard form it works fantastically, people often replace pumps and choose not to refit an oem sock and have issues.

D585 (specifically) LS coils.

Thanks in advance..

Axle tramping is common - helped by Beatrush PPF brace: http://www.mazda-speed.com/forum2/index.php?topic=24507.0

GM LS2 coils are preferred these days: http://www.miataturbo.net/diy-turbo-discussion-14/lsx-coil-thread-82744/ (I have LS2 D514A coils)
