tdo4l /tf035 turbo

hi guys , does anyone run a TF035 turbo on there NA6 ? what are your thoughts ? good or bad , my thoughts are ,it should spool up quick ,be fun low boost daily driver ,, appreciated your input ,,thanks

I'm no turbo expert but the TD04 is the larger turbo right? I have one (albeit slightly modified) off a T5 Volvo. On my NB it produces 163rwkW on 7psi, very smooth delivery with practically no lag.

I can't imagine a smaller turbo though...I assume it will practically be on boost all the time. Check with Nitro Dann - I recall him fitting a car with a really tiny turbo just for laughs.

anybody here use the tf035 ? turbo is off a Subaru forrester / also on 2.8diesel Mitsubishi .. I do believe its the same as the mighty car mods guys used on there white NA .. could be wrong though

Apu also has water/methanol injection, and that reading was on the Mania dyno which is known for being a little enthusiastic, regardless it has an efficient setup that hauls arse.

True...but water-meth produces an extra 13kw, so it reads 176rwkW on the Mania dyno.

Speaking of which...would be good to organise a dyno day some time!
