I saw this today too. It's a little more expensive than the old PS1000, but I think it's where I'll be going in 6-12 months.

Indeed, but I can't find much info on what that means. The E2500 has that mentioned also, so I was hopping someone had writen about it, but a simple Google turned up nothing.

I spoke to them a while back about the 2500.
OBDII Capable means for the NC that it will integrate with the onboard CAN Bus so it can be used as a replacement for the OEM ECU rather than just be used to run fuel and timing like so many others.
Last I heard they were working to get the 2500 talking to the DSC on the NC

I've already got one of these :)

Not sure what the OBDII control means, but I'll be investigating it as it may give me greater options in my quest for a digital gauge solution (See thread in MX5 Audio, Electronics & Lighting section)

This is the ideal product for more modern cars like the NC which have fly-by wire throttle etc, which is where everything is moving to as we all know. Basically cars are getting more complicated & the stand alone ECU market needs to adapt - Some may debate going stand alone isn't as necessary given products such as ECUtek & free ware alternatives give quite a lot of control these days.

That being said, it also does have advantages for NB users as it does give the tuner greater control - Dan at Deckspeed was actually quite impressed with what it could do... & if you're an SE driver, you'll get a little bit of my car in every box as my car was used to set the base map :D

This is very interesting considering what I was told by my tuner about the PS1000 he sold me.

Well he hasn't yet succeeded in making the car idle reliably and consistently on either E85 or 98 and we're 6 months in and he's still saying it's the ECU, not him!!

I'll reserve judgment for 6 weeks when another tuner has a look at it.
