You need Inconel studs and locking tabs and high temp thread locker ad locking nuts.
It is not all that cheap to do all of the studs but it is very much worth it to not have to worry about them backing out every other trackday!
http://trackspeedengineering.com/produc ... ucts_id/98There are plenty of places to buy studs and hardware separately.
I could not find super high temp thread locker in Australia so went to 034 Motorsport when I did it:
http://www.034motorsport.com/fluids-che ... p-609.htmlYou can get probably away without Inconel studs if you use locking tabs and the high temp thread locker but they will stretch over time.

get the genuine s15 parts from a dealership.
you will need 4 studs 4 nuts and 2 plates.
the plates are bent over the nuts when tightened to avoid them coming undone.

His manifold is tapped for 10x1.5, big boy hardware.
Mate just get the set from trackspeed, andrew from trackspeed is a great guy who contributes a lot of time and knowledge to the community, he will ship them right away, the kit is complete and includes everything and it will not fail, you will never ever need to replace a single part ever.

Argh I should have ordered them ages ago. I can't find anyone local that supplies the 10mm to 8mm stud that the manifold needs.

Is drilling out the exhaust housing to accept the 10mm stud an option?

Yep, I did it with mine.
make sure you block any opening or port in the turbo with tape.
The cast steel is very easy to drill through and with an existing 8mm hole it is impossible to end up off center. With the turbo secured properly you can do it with a hand held drill.

What deviant said, the turbo is SUPER amazingly easy to drill.
Drill it 10.5 or 11 and get the 10x1.5 set from TSE.

The Nissan 200SX S15 turbo studs are Inconel yeah? They are $18 each retail.
GCG have both the Inconel studs and Stage 8 lock nuts. There's a place in Melbourne that sells the Resbond 907TS from memory.
At track days I am having issues with studs backing out with the nut still on the stud, but I haven't tried Inconel or the Stage 8 lock nuts. I suspect when I add a flex joint to my dump pipe it will no longer be an issue even on the hardware I'm using now, but I'll report back after next track day.

yeh they are, but they are 8mm, where as the turbo manifold he has is tapped for 10mm hardware.
With 8mm hardware resbond and lockign nuts you STILL get stretched studs and studs which back out on a seriously drĂven mx5.
Not so with the 10mm, you just cannot stretch 10mm resbonded inconel hardware, and the stage 8 locking hardware keeps the nuts on.
